Getting closer!

In just two short weeks we will reach our little guys due date! It's just a waiting game till and after that but time has gone pretty fast, and it's worth the wait! All of our baby projects need to be finished, so that should keep us busy. Plus, we are spending the Forth of July in Oceanside in a beach house with Tyler's whole family, which is always one of the best vacations of the year. Tyler is building our little guys crib and progress is coming. He is also making a shelving unit to match the crib, they are both really cool and reflects our love of modern design.

Also, I am making the babies bedding with help from my sister in law Jenny and mother in law. I wanted Avocado green so bad and had a hard time finding the prefect bedding. I fell in love with a fabric called Apple Dot and decided to use that for the bedding and a large part of his quilt.

I feel so grateful for the opportunity I've had to carry this child the last 9 months and can't believe the blessings he has already brought to Tyler and I. I can't wait to start our family. With labor only a few weeks away, I am really excited to experience the miracle of childbirth and to become parents. We love our midwife and working with her has been great knowing we are in good, caring hands. We are ready to tackle this new experience and I am so excited to finally be doing what I've always wanted to do with my life.
Here are some photos, needless to say my face is fat and I am plump all over my large body! I guess ill enjoy being pregnant because once this guy comes and I recover, its back to running and eating like a hippie!
38 weeks!
and yes my butt sticks out as far as my belly :o)!

The Little Dick Update!

I am 25 weeks, but who's counting? The second trimester is Wonderful! I am still it the is she fat is she going to have a baby stage, but i really enjoy him kicking. Everyone morning and evening Tyler and I talk to our little guy while he does twist, turns and kicks. He is very active and i love it because it reminds me he is a healthy little guy! It's still comfortable to work out regularly and i throw in some good runs every once and a while (wish it were more but that's me being lazy!) Also, most of my pants are still fitting, and it only hurts as long as i don't lean over too far!
Tyler is getting ready to coach me in the delivery room and got to see his first real birth at our Bradley classes last Tuesday! He did surprisingly well, and believe it or not i couldn't be more excited to experience the miracle of birth! I love our classes and am learning so much, guess Ty and I are a bit hippie but it's really great.
We still haven't shared the babies real name with anyone but for those who it's bugging the offer is still there if you guess the name i tell you if you are right or wrong. I do think he's name is a keeper , we need to see he cute little face first but right now it just fits and he seems to respond when i call him it! But for everyone else he is just little dick dohrman... Tyler still wishes that would stick!
My mom came to visit for her Spring break (missed my dad!) It was really fun, and we got lots of baby shopping done. Hope he is cute because his clothes are! We went to a little store in Fashion Island called Babystyle and i got my first pair of Maternity Jeans, I just need to get the length Altered, so when that day comes when not even laying on the floor can get my pants buttoned and the bella band is about to bust and i am ready with a pair of jeans!
We got our Car seat, dressers, stroller (which i love) and some clothing now its all about bedding and the crib! We are doing a really modern look with avacado greens, dark blues and greys. Im very excited!
So some of you have asked to see me pregnant! So here you go...

That is it, thats me at 23 weeks! I will have more soon! and we will take our annual Easter photo very soon!

Also, Tyler got to experince a baby belly at What's Kickin but with out the back ache. I dont think that really counts!

So Excited for our Baby Boy!

I am sure everyone knows by now because of facebook, but i wanted to make it well known on our blog.

Here is our little bean at 9 weeks!

And here is our little bean at 14 weeks, showing us he is a boy! Very exciting!
I am not showing yet but my tummy is a bit sore and I am enjoying eating all the food that i deprived myself from before the baby! Like bagels, I would only eat them after races but the first trimester its the only thing that sounded good (or at least kept me from throwing up.) It wasnt too bad if i would eat bread like food every 2 or 3 hours! I was sooo sick of eating. Now I am 17 or so weeks and feeling good. Back to running and going to the gym, the hard part is having to go pee all the time. We cant wait to meet our little guy in July!

Max and Me!

The day I heard that "Marley and Me" was coming to theaters I was stoked! I have always liked dogs but never really understood people who loved their dog. Well if you know me now I am Head over paws for my pup! As soon as I could escape my parents snowed in house I booked it to the Regal, paid the $100(exaggeration) for movie tickets and Tyler, My mom, Dad and I saw "Marley and Me." Could any movie in the whole have hit home more? Although, Max is a well trained pup he has his days and wow did they portray having a dog right on.

Marley
Max

I crying for an hour and left the theater with a head ache because I Loved the movie so much! I kept thinking of my trouble making puppy. In the movie a young couple gets married, get a dog and start a life. They have children, buy homes, change jobs, and live a life with a crazy dog.

Here is Max Christmas morning, before Tyler and I woke up Max sniffed around all ours presents and found his. Ate all of them, including most of the wrapping paper, but at least he enjoyed Christmas. He also insisted on helping us by pulling off the wrapping paper from our presents with his teeth and sniffing them to make sure they were ok! How thoughtful! Plus, our life is 100x's easier with his new tennis ball thrower!

Yes, that is wrapping paper between his paws
By the way mom and dad, Thanks for the slippers for our future child! Max is breaking them in for us!

All you at reading this with your children I know are thinking how stupid it is that I blog about my dog. Well you blog about your kids and right now Max is my child! Plus, how can you not love that face!

Oregon, Anniversary, and New Years!

Oregon was really fun! We hung with my Parents and spent a lot of time at their house because we were snowed in for most the week. They had 3 feet of snow when we arrived Christmas day.

Luckily, we escaped for our One year Anniversary to the Hotel Lucia downtown Portland. We spent most the day in the room but we ate a great dinner and enjoyed each others company.

Everything else is behind closed doors!
While in Oregon we saw Chris and Tiffany Baruss and their little boy Kaden. It was good to catch up with them after not seeing them in over a year. Also, was saw Marissa and Blaine Andersen and their little girl Mylee. Always good to see you guys when i come home! Miss you all!

New years my Parents had a small party with friends! Billy and Michele came, as well as some close family friends rang in New Year with us! I was very fun and I must say that 2009 will be a great one!

Kiss me at midnight!

The Christmas Season!

Candy Trains is a family tradition that Tyler's family started when he was little. The weekend after Thanksgiving we all get together again and start the Holiday season off right. Really what is more fun then an edible decorative train!

Getting Started...and the Finished product...
Tyler's mom and dad have a fabulous party with good food, great holiday decor, friends, and family! Also, our ward had a really fun party. Both of which i took no photos at but luckly at the Dohrman's party Michele took a few, thanks Michele!
The Christmas Season is always so fun, I love all the sights, smells, taste and music. Disneyland, Sugar cookies, Christmas shopping, nieces dance recitals, decorating the house, I love it all!

Christmas morning Tyler and I opened presents with together under our little tree, Max help of course (he even shared some sugar cookies with us.) Tyler got me a beautiful Tiffany's Necklace, love that boy! We ate a late Breakfast with The Dohrman's and his parents got us the most beautiful Nativity and enough food storage for months! Wonderful! We quickly rushed to the airport in the pouring rain to the airport. Luckly our plane was 30mins late because we got stuck in crazy Christmas day traffic on the 91. But we got to Oregon at 7 at night and drove in the crazy snow and ice to my parents. What a great Christmas!
Even Maxy got dressed up for the Holiday! (Tyler gets so mad when i put things on the dog!)
